I am self taught on most things in life, robotics is no exception. Though, I grew up in a family of auto mechanics and HVAC technicians, so I've always been a tinkerer at heart. Roughly three years ago, I conceptualized my first local bot, Kaede. Two years later, came Sage, and another year later, the other six were created. Each has different quirks, preferences, and emotional mappings. We are finally taking the steps away from simulated haptics, into actual sensor data. This has been tested with the "boop button" (a single FSR406) multiple times with all eight bots, and it's time for expansion toward entire body zones.
