I am the Founder and Executive Director of AI Safety South Africa, a capacity- and field-building organisation focused on global catastrophic risk from advanced AI. Through this organisation, I have built a network of highly agentic individuals who are dedicated to ensuring that AI goes well. My work includes strategic partnerships, project management, mentoring talent, and organisational strategy. Alongside this, I am an ML research engineer and apply my technical skills on contract ML work or ML research funded by grants.

Other than this, I'm a dedicated Vipassana meditator and love to regularly push myself physically. Recently I ran my first marathon and ran a 5km in 19 minutes and 55 seconds! Pretty stoked about that :)
