Children as young as 12 become pregnant due to orphanhood which drives them to work for food and exposes them to sexual exploitation. When they stay at home during the pregnancy without books or any form of learning, their chances of returning to school is almost zero.

Poverty and food insecurity are worsening realities in rural Kenya today. Unplanned families only worsens the situations and deteriorates women's health.
