I am an ex-climate tech entrepreneur who is now building a media company to address the Metacrisis. After working on climate tech for 8 years, I realized that climate change is a symptom of the problem and not the problem itself. The problem is far deeper- cultural, spiritual, economical and deeply rooted in our systemic structures and incentives. It is critical that we exponentially accelerate the development and adoption of alternatives that support planetary flourishing. The most critical gap for addressing this problem is cultural, economical, and political willingness. That can only be addressed by ensuring that we as a society see the alternatives as desirable, viable, and necessary. This requires narrative change at an unprecedented scale. If we want to build a better world, we need better stories. Those are the stories I intend to tell.
