About Me

I am currently pursuing a research agenda as part of Sahil K's "High Actuation Spaces" project and community. Within this agenda, I am attempting to clarify the ways in which AI safety research operates under a reductionist/mechanistic paradigm, and to explore risk scenarios which subvert this. More generally, I am interested in biology, systems, processes, mathematics, and philosophy of mind, and aim to apply insights from all of these to problems in agent foundations and interpretability.

Update:

I attended the Tokyo AI Safety Conference. I made ~5 new connections that I have communicated with at least once after the conference, and I strengthened ~ 3 connections with people that I already know, to the extent that I feel comfortable asking them for help. I didn't make as much of a connection to the AI safety scene in Tokyo as I would've liked. Overall this wasn't extremely productive in terms of sharing my research to a wider audience, but I did have 4 conversations about it that I would describe as valuable or important, and I view the connections I made as worthwhile for the future.

Deeply thankful to everyone who helped me attend.
