There are many talents globally that would make a big difference in AI safety and Governance but are neither aware of the potential they possess nor that they could make a huge difference in Keeping AI safe for everyone.

Our goal is to reach out to these talents and introduce them to careers in AI safety and Governance and provide them with the necessary guidance, funding and other resources needed to successfully transition into a full-time career in AI safety & Governance thereby reducing the global catastrophic threat of harmful AI models to humans.

What are this project's goals? How will you achieve them?

1. Reach out to professionals across the world with a potential fit for career in AI safety & governance

2. Hold seminars and workshops with potentials online and in - person, where possible, introducing them to a rewarding career in AI safety & Governance

3. Provide them with all the guidance, funding and resources needed to successfully transition on into a Full-time career in AI safety & governance

I will achieve this by making outbound calls, and traveling with my team to selected underrepresented countries across africa, & Europe to hold seminars and workshops with potential professionals, enroll them successfully in an AI safety or governance courses, help them find job openings for Ai safety experts and establish a community where they can always collaborate with international experts and expose them to jobs andother opportunities in AI safety and Governance

How will this funding be used?

This funding will be used to provide transportation, logistics and technical resources to the team that will engage in the tour of talent sourcing.

Funds will also be used to support interested professionals where necessary to transition into careers in Ai safety

With 10,000 USD we will only be able to reach out and support a few professionals to transition into full-time career in AI safety and governance

With 50,000 USD we will be able to reach out and support at least 100 professionals to transition into careers in AI safety and governance.

Who is on your team? What's your track record on similar projects?

Michael Ofosu who is a PHd research and a Machine learning Engineer and will provide technical assistance

I am a talent sourcer and have affiliated with companies like Turing, Micro1, Mercor and Terac, to refer over 1000 candidates to apply for jobs on the platform with impressive success rate.

My expertise involve cold calling and I have built a strong community of professionals on LinkedIn.

What are the most likely causes and outcomes if this project fails?

Unwillingness of professionals to transition to AI safety experts career which would result in having lesser number of professionals moving into full-time career in AI safety than the targeted number.

How much money have you raised in the last 12 months, and from where?

We haven't raised any money yet, all expenses so far is out-of-pocket.
