Open Source Atlas — The Next Phase of the Quantum Model of the Universe

The Quantum Model of the Universe now exists as a completed sixteen-volume research corpus, but a body of work of this size is difficult to examine from the outside. I do not want it to remain something that only its author or a few specialists can navigate.

How will this funding be used?

This funding will be used to turn Open Source Atlas from a research method into a working public resource.

Who is on your team? What's your track record on similar projects?

The project is led by me, but it is not a one-person research effort.

Over the last three years, while developing the sixteen-volume core of the Quantum Model of the Universe, I have built a working network of more than 50 scientists and experts from more than 10 institutions and organisations across more than seven countries. They have contributed in different ways — scientific review, specialist consultation, technical checking, editorial work and discussion of specific research areas.

What are the most likely causes and outcomes if this project fails?

The most likely way this project could fail is by trying to do too much at once. The underlying research is large, interdisciplinary and already spans thousands of pages, so the main risk is not lack of material but lack of focus. If the first version attempts to cover every subject, every source and every scientific disagreement, it could become too complex to use.

How much money have you raised in the last 12 months, and from where?

We have not raised significant external funding during the last 12 months. Most of the work has been financed from my own resources.

Over the last 12 months, approximately $50,000 has been spent on the project, primarily from my personal funds. We have not yet had a major institutional or foundation grant supporting this work.
