My paper “Training Quality Determines Efficiency Boundaries in Test-Time Reasoning” was accepted as a main-track poster at NeurIPS 2026 (Sydney, Dec 6–12). I’m the only author. I just finished a 4-year diploma in Bangladesh and haven’t started a bachelor’s. I need help paying for the trip. Paper: https://neurips.cc/virtual/2026/loc/sydney/poster/150721
Present the poster in person and meet researchers working on reasoning efficiency. The paper tests 50 models across 67,000+ evaluations on 6 benchmarks, done alone. I’m applying for fully funded BSc programs, and being there in person is the best chance to get feedback and make contacts for that.
Flights, Australian visa, accommodation, and registration, about $6,400 in total. I’m also applying to NeurIPS financial assistance, which can cover registration and hotel nights, and to the ICT Division of Bangladesh. This grant covers what’s left after those.
Just me. NeurIPS 2026 main track (sole author), a Scientific Reports paper, three IEEE conference papers, three arXiv preprints, Kaggle Notebooks Master. Website: https://logicsame.github.io/md-hakim.github.io/ · Scholar: https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=jVyIovcAAAAJ
If I can’t raise the money, I can’t attend. The paper is still in the proceedings, but I may not be able to present it, and NeurIPS can remove papers when no author presents in person. The other risk is a visa delay. I’m filing before the Oct 18 deadline.
