I’m an independent AI systems designer based in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. My background includes stone masonry, pool construction and service, and approximately 15 years leading construction crews—work where clear responsibility, practical judgment, and knowing when to stop matter every day.

Over the past two years, I’ve worked extensively with AI tools to develop and critically review systems concepts. My current focus is human oversight: preserving meaningful objections, making uncertainty understandable, and distinguishing an AI recommendation from an authorized action.

I want to test whether these approaches actually help people make better decisions. I use AI assistance in drafting, coding, and analysis, and aim to publish reproducible methods, honest limitations, and negative findings alongside positive results.
