I am a university undergraduate student. Just less than six months ago, I had no knowledge of nor the intention to go into AI safety, but because of SASS, my career plans have completely changed. I am currently setting up a university AI safety society, which would not have been possible without SASS members to encourage and support me, and give me ideas. Overall, the SASS community is the reason why I am now actively pursuing a career in AI safety.
