What's usable today vs what this grant funds.
The gate already runs as-is — it's a model-independent layer you can put in front of an existing model and try right now. The core works today, not "after the grant." You can take it and test it immediately.
What the grant buys is the rigorous evaluation around it: a larger, category-balanced, cross-vendor benchmark with reproducible scripts, white-box probing across model families, and the public write-up. A quick try shows it works; turning that into a clean, citable, quality result is exactly the more detailed testing this funds.
So this is "verify, then fund" — reproduce a result yourself, or pick a scenario and I'll run it / walk you through it live. Architecture and results are open; only the calibration corpus and thresholds stay proprietary (live gate under NDA).
