If you have any hope that we won't "muddle through", GSAI is likely the way it happens. The current state of GSAI approaches is nascent and growing the field with seminars and talks like these is super important. Orpheus's organization of these talks and ability to identify interesting and broad topics and speakers in and adjacent to GSAI is a large part of why I get a lot of value from these talks compared to others. We've transitioned from our planned nonprofit structure to a for-profit company. We've signed an MFN SAFE for the full amount donated through Manifund.

During any liquidity event, Manifund would distribute proceeds back to the original donor balances proportional to the amount they contributed.

We're still building automated research tools focused on AI safety problems - the for-profit structure gives us more flexibility to scale. Over the coming months, we'll be implementing governance structures (i.e., PBC) to keep us aligned with our mission.
